Membership and Partner Associations
Building Strength Through Collaboration
Our strength as a provincial voice comes from our 3000+ member companies involved in institutional, commercial and industrial sectors – these include general contractors, trade contractors, and manufacturers and suppliers.
Membership in the Alberta Construction Association is through our integrated Local Construction Associations and our partners, including the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) and Associate Members.
Together, we form a connected network that strengthens our advocacy, enhances member value, and ensures Alberta’s construction industry speaks with a coordinated, influential voice.
Local Construction Associations (LCA)
Local Construction Associations (LCAs) attract and retain member companies in their regions. They provide member services, advocate on local issues, offer networking and education opportunities, and act as conduits on provincial and federal issues to ACA and the Canadian Construction Association (CCA), when appropriate.
Industry membership flows through LCAs and is then represented provincially by ACA and nationally by CCA. Because LCAs own the direct relationships with member companies and understand local realities, effective communication and advocacy are best done in close collaboration with them.

Associate Members
Trade or specialty associations with offices in the Province of Alberta are eligible to become Associate Members of the Alberta Construction Association.
Our Associate Members Include:
Canadian Construction Association
The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is the national voice for Canada’s institutional, commercial, industrial, civil, and multi-residential construction industry.
CCA supports public policy, legal and standards development goals of contractors, suppliers and allied business professionals working in, or with, our industry. They communicate with and directly support the LCAs and ACA.
