This month the ACA discussed our MLA Reception along with the release of updated Prompt Payment Plain Language Guides.
Highlights of this month’s newsletter:
- The ACA’s 2nd Annual MLA Reception took place on October 28, which allowed us to interact with industry leaders, partners, and Alberta’s elected officials, department heads, and staff to collaborate and exchange ideas for the good of the province’s construction industry.
- The ACA responded to the Federal government’s budget release.
- The ACA released updates to the Prompt Payment Plain Language Guides, which serve as one of our most valuable resources that provide contractors, subcontractors, and owners with clear explanations of their obligations according to Alberta’s prompt payment framework.
- Reporting on the ACA’s partnership with the Government of Alberta and the launching of the Digital Tradesperson Program, which provides on-demand training through the ProductivityNOW learning platform.
